Unesco World Natural Heritage Dolomites

Michael Wachtler will explain just what it is that makes the Dolomiti Alps so unique. In the Braies Range, he discovered a previously unexplored fossilized world. Dozens of unknown plants, reptiles, and fish have been unearthed so far. Some of these findings are described in the documents that helped convince UNESCO experts of the area’s unique nature.
